Living free of emotional traps and limitations is like a muscle that needs to be strengthened in order to experience the extent of its power.

As a beginner you can learn to stop the pain in your life immediately with these three steps. Eventually, as your abilities to block, dismiss and redirect negative energy get stronger; you will be able to live an entire life without ever being hijacked by fear or other negative emotions again.

However, this doesn’t mean you will never experience negativity again. It means you will learn to stay present and deal with the challenge at hand with clear mind and productive actions. The time spent on blame, shame, resistance and other emotional hijacking traps will shrink from massive size to fleeting moments of notice.

These 3 steps will help you get started with removing limitations and learning to be the master of your SELF.

  1. Recognize a Limitation – A limitation will come with a strong emotion or belief. It will say or feel like you cannot do it, have it and/or you do not deserve it. Recognize limitations are not normal –but are hidden sub-conscious emotional restraints. It is like being cautious but without the facts to support the caution. Why can’t you have your hearts deepest desire? There is no logical reason why you should not. Recognize that, believe that and go forward in achieving your dreams.
  2. Recognize Your Normal State of Mind. Your normal state of mind should always feel safe, peaceful and confident. When it is not, you must ask yourself why, and try to identify the limitations that stand in your way. Do not ignore states of mind that are chaotic instead tune into them. Feel the limitation. Feel the emotion that is attached to it. Do not fear how big it can get. Actually the bigger it gets the more power you have in letting it go. Eventually you will learn that the power, no matter how big it is, is you. The power is you. You are afraid of you. I don’t blame you. You are very powerful. You are the child of The Most High.
  3. Confront the Emotion or State of Mind. Get the emotion to show itself in full power. The bigger the better. Walk right into it. Let it present itself to you. Question it. Ask it to move. Understand that emotions really do like to be in motion and are more than willing to leave your life and go into the atmosphere. But, you trapped it… it did not trap you. Let it go. It will not go unless you give it permission. Ask it to leave. Instruct it to go and find freedom. Help the e-motion move by breathing it out of your mouth. Push it out with each exhale. Remember, it wants to leave. Sometimes it helps to apologize for trapping it; as you ask it to leave and you escort it out through your exhales.
